The well-being of small patients is a matter close to our hearts! To make the everyday life of affected children a little easier, we have a new family member to accompany the kids-product group: Our LUMY! Lumy supports therapists, doctors and caregivers in all aspects of tracheostomy and helps to bring the topic closer to affected parents and children. We have big plans for him, but for now he introduces himself:
Hello! I am a little red panda and come from the Himalayas. Unfortunately, I was born too early and my lungs were not yet fully formed. That's why I had to be put on a ventilator. To make it easier for me and the doctors, I was tracheotomised and have been wearing a tracheostomy tube since then. I don't need the respirator any more, but sometimes I still have to be sucked out, especially when I have a cold or need extra oxygen. I have flown all over the world with my mum - all the way to you in Nieder-Olm.
I have already left my mark in the company building and on the website. I will soon be cheating my way onto the outer packaging of the silcosoft and mini tracheostomy tubes and will be happy to accompany you at trade fairs and in hospitals. I'm also getting into the film business and my first book is already in print. Be curious to see what I will experience!
My mission: I want to encourage children by showing them that even with a tracheostomy tube you can achieve a lot and have fun.
